Back home!

After a busy few days at the Duxford Quilt Show, it’s lovely to be home at the beach with my grandchildren and my two dogs. A little relaxation time before preparing for the craft fair at Pagham this Saturday. I bought a wedge ruler at the quilt show which I’m itching to try out – maybe a round cushion using some of the gorgeous ‘Feather and Flock’ fabric by Tina Givens!

Thank you once again to those of you who came to the show and gave Mel and I such kind comments and encouragement.

Bye for now.

Duxford Quilt Festival!

What a wonderful weekend! We had such a lovely time meeting so many new faces, and a couple of familiar ones.  Its hard to say what was the highlight. It never fails to amaze me how many different projects we all come up with. Just when I’ve seen it all, someone creates something so fresh it can’t help but inspire!  Amanda and I are both getting ready for our stall this weekend, so I’m keeping this fairly short to highlight what we’ve been up to!

For the lovely lady on Friday who was Harry Potter mad like me. Do check out The Bored Zombie (www.theboredzombie.com) for her Harry Potter inspired embroidery and quilts! And I have to mention the lovely Maryke from www.batiksnbeads.co.uk who was our neighbour and so supporting throughout the weekend. Plus I couldn’t help but purchase some embroidery threads and beads from them!

Thanks again all for the support we loved meeting you all!
