Classes, Parties, and Socials
We currently offer a small range of classes, parties and socials to share our love of textiles. From all skill levels, we think we can provide a personal touch that makes working with textiles fun! At this time we cater to adults, but if you think you have some crafty children keen to get the fabric ‘bug’, please contact us and we can discuss suitability. Email us at email@example.com for more details on our classes or to discuss with us your own bespoke day!

You do not have to have any background in sewing or crafts to make a beautiful lampshade. PROMISE! If you can gather four or 5 friends together we can organise this great lampshade party. Takes 2-3 hours depending on group numbers and we can come to you! At the end you will have a beautiful lampshade to take home with you. Price from £35 per person.
Making a wedding quilt or memory quilt
Suitable for all skill types, help will be provided for the less experienced sewers.
Going back to quilting roots. Quilts were not just made for necessity, there were often made by large groups of friends to celebrate weddings and recognise special events. Amanda and I both use quilts to record events and share our love into making something that will be treasured for years to come. With a group of 4 or more, you can create individual quilting blocks in a session, ready to be added to a quilt. The quilting process will be discussed with the eventual owner of the quilt. They can keep the blocks to finish themselves, or can commission Amanda or Mel to finish for them. This has been a wonderful process for an alternative hen do or family anniversary.
