The flap is held in place by the handles, but you could add a loop \u0026amp; button too.      This is a spacious bag that can be made with shoulder straps or shorter handles in contrasting fabric.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eI have added a zippered front pocket on the blue bag but it works just as well without as on the purple bag. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eFinished size folded – 14” tall, 16” wide at top with a wide rectangular base, approx. 10” x 6”\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eUnfolded 17” tall.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis item is a printed paper pattern with full colour photos and step by step instructions. As with all of our designs, this pattern uses traditional piecing methods with step by step instruction provided.
