We've taken the plunge and relaunched our website. Like anything new it will take time to adapt to this new way of shopping, but I hope this will feel much more cohesive and a happier shopping experience!
What's changed?
We'll quite a lot really. Its a brand new platform behind what you see. This should bring you easier shipping options for the UK and for all our overseas friends, better website security - piece of mind for both you and us, the new structure should help you search for items and hopefully feel easier to move from items to item.It should mean that I can get back to newsletters and blogs and add videos to our patterns and sew alongs. It all sounds promising and I'm crossing everything that it delivers for you and for us!
What this means on launch day...
Of course we still have 100s of fabrics to choose from, but we want to focus on what we do best. So from page one, you will see we've highlighted our patterns and kits.
Look at the header on the home page and notice you can be search by designer. Its always been our focus to work with the designers and try to tell their stories. For us its important to represent their vision and by doing this we know this will give you the confidence that our fabrics will work together.
On day one of the site, we will launch with our newest fabrics and kits, and slowly adding to our back catalog. So it may feel light at first, but it will continue to grow as we upload all our stock.
We really hope that you like the new look and feel and really appreciate all your support over the years to help our little business grow!
