Este says, "The Botanica collection reflects my love for flowers and the natural world. The diversity of botanical forms inspires me—from delicate blossoms and bold florals to flowing leaf patterns and intricate seed heads. In this collection, I used a palette of rich colours to create stylised and layered designs. Subtle greens, creams, and cool blues are combined with warm caramel, peach, and soft pinks. You will also find jewel-tone purples and bright pinks shown on a smoky grey background. All of these designs started off as physical paintings on canvas or paper before being turned into repeat patterns digitally. Florals and patterns are then simplified and stylised and placed in playful arrangements. Some designs are packed densely with florals and organic forms, contrasting with others in limited colours that ensure variety for sewing projects. In this collection, I have presented my recognisable floral and botanical plant motifs in new compositions and layouts, including stripes and coordinates in different scales and colourways.".
