Amanda says"This was a fun quilt to design. I love foundation piecing for its crisp appearance, and this simple block allowed me to create a layered three dimensional effect with these stars.
In the background we have the “Black & Grey” ** stars and then the layer over the top is a colourwash of brightly coloured stars. If you look into the design you might realise that there is a grid of “circles”. Maybe this is why I was inspired to add the circles on the border?"

This quilt contains 48 blocks & finishes at 36” x 48” with borders 45” x 57”.
Size easily altered
This item is a printed paper pattern with full colour photos and step by step instructions. As with all of our designs, this pattern uses traditional piecing methods with step by step instruction provided. It is assumed that you will be using a sewing machine for piecing.
