Tokyo Quilt Pattern by Monkey Buttons

I love the contrast between these two quilts. 

The soft rustic effect of muted taupe fabrics - I used a wide variety of Japanese woven fabrics.  I used some of the lighter scraps for a pieced border.  This scrap quilt finishes at 68" x 54" Could easily be enlarged by adding more blocks.

The bright quilt uses a constant light aqua background and the same navy fabric in each of the blocks. This has a pieced border with four patch blocks set on point where the colours are graded. This quilt finishes at 66" x 45"  

This item is a printed paper pattern with full colour photos and step by step instructions. As with all of our designs, this pattern uses traditional piecing methods with step by step instruction provided. It is assumed that you will be using a sewing machine for piecing.
